The Fertile Firefighter’s Association began with a borrowed hose and a pancake breakfast that raised just enough money for a second griddle. The founders were committed to public service. They were less careful about the wording on their fundraiser shirts.
At the station, equipment checks happen on schedule and debates about whose hose is longer happen considerably more often. The chief has asked the calendar committee to focus on the truck. The calendar committee has asked the chief to be more open-minded.
Their annual chili cook-off attracts a respectable crowd and an unreasonable number of comments about heat. Wear the tee to honor an imaginary crew with excellent turnout and deeply questionable copywriting. No actual department affiliation, emergency services, or pancake privileges are included.
