The Faulkton Volunteer Firefighters Association began after the neighborhood agreed someone should organize the pancake breakfast. A association emerged with a banner and six strong opinions about sausage.
Members take imaginary duties seriously, particularly arriving early enough to claim the good griddle. The fundraising committee proposes slogans. The chief keeps asking whether anybody has considered a simple logo.
At the dinner, the emcee practices the name before approaching the microphone. Wear the tee for a crew with community spirit and no control over how quickly people read. This is not an actual emergency-service affiliation.
