Patience is a virtue. So is checking the latch.
The Bonner Trappers Association formed when a group of outdoor enthusiasts decided their stories would sound more convincing with an official name. They elected a president, ordered patches, and agreed the biggest catch should always happen when nobody else was there.
The association values fieldcraft, careful preparation, and knowing when you have walked into something yourself. Its monthly meetings include equipment demonstrations and accounts of “the one that got away” that expand noticeably between retellings.
The annual banquet features a raffle, a questionable trophy, and a strict rule against demonstrating anything near the dessert table. Wear the tee for a club whose members understand that getting someone’s attention is easy. Keeping a straight face while explaining the name takes real skill.
