Description
Please wait for the conductor.
The Cumming Church Choir began with a volunteer pianist and a rehearsal announcement that needed a second reading. Attendance was encouraging. The questions were less so.
The choir rehearses entrances, holds notes, and occasionally agrees on tempo. The director asks everyone to come in together. A brief pause follows. The altos are no longer allowed to make eye contact.
The spring concert includes a soloist who insists the high note is comfortable. Wear the tee for an imaginary choir that believes harmony requires patience and carefully edited programs. No real congregation is represented.
